Liftopia Founders On How Their Ski Trip Planning Startup Stays Busy In The Off-Season [TCTV]

Screen Shot 2012-08-23 at 2.53.36 PMLast week we got an email from ski lift ticket e-retailer Liftopia about a big deal it inked to be the exclusive tech platform for the Mountain Collective, a new partnership of four elite ski resorts: Alta, Aspen/Snowmass, Jackson Hole, and Squaw Valley/Alpine Meadows. That news was interesting, but almost more interesting was the fact that Liftopia was doing business and reaching out to press in August -- somehow I'd assumed this would be the off-season for the company. In fact, though, Liftopia tells me that its summers have become just as bustling as its winters.
